Awards 2009

2010 is here. Well, Happy New Year!!

Hmm...an year leaves after 365(or 366) days...but it does leave behind a lot of things and experiences...my year 2009 was fully packed....it stuffed me with soooo much that sometimes it was..just...deluging. But yeah, during the course of the year, so many things happened...and a lot of them are award-worthy..

I-show-middle-finger-to-you award: It was a very close call between the fat-dark-glasses person and the getting-fat-wobble-walk person. Finally, getting-fat-wobble-walk gets the award for being a total snob...(the fact that getting-fat-wobble-walk lives close by and I need to look at that face at least once in a week, highly influenced the decision!)

Blade No. 1 award: Without doubt goes to the great man who has an office behind Kasi theatre. (I'm sure the twins will agree!)

Agony month award: Tie between May and June

Confusion rules award: September!!!

Everybody-hates-me award: HR woman in the office behind the Samsonite showroom overlooking a bridge! You really suck lady.

I-should-be-acting-in-a-Vikraman-movie award: The person who works for the company that has been endorsed by Aishwarya Roy, SRK, Suriya, Madhavan, Ranbir, Deepika, Dada, Ram charan Teja and so many others at some point of time...

Varum-aana-varaadhu award: HCL Technologies! (oops...my apologies to everybody who's joined there :P)

The perfect Gentleman award: The guy with three initials in the name, but addressed with just two letters!

My-favorite-politician-award: Our local councillor!

Biggest-craze award: The Twilight saga!

Epdi-irundha-naan-ipdi-aayiten award: Well, you have an office at Jagannathan Road, my dear 'one'!

Ayo-raama,-enna-yen-indha-mari-kalisadai-pasangaloda-ellam-kootu-sera-vekara award: to the guy who got hit by me in 1st std. ONLY for that drama involving the mokka zombie.

Tragedy-of-the-year award: Sri Lanka

100-degree-Celsius(Boiling point!) award: Close tie between the 66 year old and the 27 year old!

Shock-of-the-year award: Lala and dancer break up!

Comedy-of-the-year award: Two of my classmates are TEACHERS now!

About-turn award: IT-->Advertising shift!

Villain-of-the-year award: Swine Flu!

Can't-get-more-stupid award: Free TVs!

PS: Ok, so most of the names are in codes. It is that way for a REASON. So if you figured who I'm talking about, shut up. Don't get me into trouble spreading all this...(pretty please?)

Happy இன்று முதல் மூன்று நாள் Happy!

Yay!! Finally, my first long weekend after I joined work has arrived. In great style. Having a Syrian Christian for a boss can sometimes be a nice thing. For one, when we shifted office, we had a prayer and a breakfast that followed (appam, stew and cake) and for Christmas, we got wine and plum cake. I have a big question - why does wine...or say, for that matter, any kind of alcohol taste like...well..varnish?! and how do people actually drink something that smells so ick?! Isn't aroma one of the important stimulants for you to like what you eat/drink?! But...ahem...nevertheless, I did have some wine(don't tell mum!), and everybody at work kept joking that I looked drunk, and I moved around in circles, and I was out of focus...blah blah...they like their little joke, all the old men. Period.

So...long weekend. I have to get a lot of work done during these three days, hopefully.
Here goes a list(more like a check-list for myself)

1. Clean shelves
2. Get Bhuvana's birthday gift
3. Try and read as much 'Kanyakumari'(Author: Jayamohan) as possible
4. Watch all those movies that are wasting space in the computer
5. Beat my personal best at PathWords(addiction, I tell you! For those who are ignorant, it's a game on Facebook)
6. Wash hair!
7. Try and get as much sleep as possible
annnnnnnnd... update blog regularly :P

என்ன எழுதுவது?

நீண்ட நாட்களுக்கு பிறகு தோழியையோ நண்பனையோ சந்திக்கும் போது, பேசுவதற்கு ஆயிரம் விஷயங்கள் பீறிட்டு பிச்சிக்கிட்டு வெளிய வர பாக்கும்...ஆனா in a rush, எதுவுமே சொல்ல வராது. ரொம்ப நாளைக்கு அப்பறம் என் blog எ திறந்து பார்க்கும்போது எனக்கும் அப்படி தான் இருக்கு. ஒரு தனி உலகம்... என் வாழ்கையையும் நான் கண்டதையும் கேட்டதையும் தெரிந்து கொள்ள ஆவல்(?!) உடைய...எனக்கென்று உள்ள ஒரு ரசிகர் பட்டாளம் (கொஞ்சம் over ஒ?)...என் உணர்வுகளுக்கு ஒரு வடிக்கால்.... என்று இருந்த..எனதருமை blog ஐ ஏன் தவிக்க விட்டு சென்றேன் என்று என்னை நானே திட்டி கொண்டேன்...தலையில் குட்டி கொண்டேன்...காரணம் தேடினேன்...கிடைக்கவில்லை(சோம்பேறித்தனம் எல்லாம் ஒரு காரணமா என்று நீங்கள் துப்ப கூடாது பாருங்க...அதனால தான் கிடைக்கல னு decent a maintain பண்றது)...so anyway, after the initial reminiscence and soul searching....now comes the toughest task....என்ன எழுதுவது? எதை பற்றி எழுதுவது? யாரை பற்றி எழுதுவது? சென்னை குளிர் தாங்க முடியல னு மின்விசிறிய அணைச்சுட்டு, அய்யயோ..கொசு கடிக்குதே னு side effects ல கடுப்பாகி, உக்காந்து நானும் எவ்வளவோ யோசிச்சு பாத்தேன்...என்ன எழுதறதுனு தெரியல...எதையாவது எழுதி வெக்கறேன்... நாளைக்கு.

PS(for ppl who can't read Tamil): Ok...so now u r irritated with me, cuz after so long i write, and i write in tamil...and u have no clue whats written! well....lets just say, tomorrow is not far.
