Saturday- Winning and competing
Everybody says participation is the most important thing, and not winning. But how can you participate when you very well know your efforts aren't going to be rewarded? Good question. But you HAVE to participate because your efforts will be APPRECIATED, by people who matter. After all...pithalai cup vetri illa! paaraatu dhaana vetri?
"What we think or what we believe is, in the end, of little consequence. The only thing of consequence is what we do."

Saturday- Relationships
Relationships amaze me. Really!
Incident 1:
A couple fight for a trivial reason. It becomes a big issue. The girl cries for half an hour. The guy breaks his helmet. The girl looks so pale that she's almost like a ghost. But after like an hour, they're are teasin
g each other. When the guy is going out, the girl asks him to wear the helmet(without a vicer- it was broken, remember?) just so she'll feel ok that he is safe.
Incident 2:
Two people are really good friends. They realize they are in love. The girl(who is a loner btw) thinks it just doesn't seem right about them getting "together"(if you know what I mean). The guy agrees she is right(as always?!). Now that is their one and only problem. Both of them are not happy.
Phew!!! Amazing. Amusing. Confusing.

Saturday- Late realization
You knew it was going to happen. A big meeting of one political party condemning its own country's government and that of the neighbourhood's. You saw all those people coming in huge buses hanging out of the bus windows, sitting on the bus's roof and all that. You heard them yell that the President of a neighbouring country is a pimp. You heard them shouting slogans praisign the dead leader of an organization that has been categorized as 'Terrorist' and promising to follow him.
You let all that happen. It happened. Next day, you publish an announcement in the newspaper saying, people supporting a banned organization, using their emblem, photos of their leaders blah blah blah will be penalized. Chief secretary Sir, this is what you call late realization and non-chalance. You either stop it before it happens, or at least don't pretend you're trying to.

Saturday- Swine Flu!
It was said that pigs will fly if America ever gets a Black President...in 100 days of Obama assuming office- Swine Flu!
Dark humour I say.
Anyways, the weird thing I found this week was... people wearing masks on the streets. Okay, I understand your concerns and your caution to wear a mask to protect yourself. But just buying a (fancy) mask is not enough. You need to know how to tie it properly. When mosquitoes can get through your mask, H1N1 definitely can.

Saturday - Of Dope Tests and Secrets
The Indian players (Sachin Tendulkar, captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Gautam Gambhir, Irfan Pathan, Munaf Patel, Jhulan Goswami and Mithali Raj) who have been selected by the ICC for dope testing have objected to the whereabouts clause. (The clause requires players to detail their whereabouts for an hour between 6am and 11pm every day for the next three months to allow random out-of-competition testing.)
When the whole world is undergoing the test, (Bindra says it is no big deal, he's been doing it for a long time now...), why not these people? I agree they think it is an invasion of privacy whatever...but heck, you're a celebrity! Of course you don't have privacy! And everybody in the media anyway knows where you are.
Weird...
PS: A close runner up and something more...hmm..let's say "interesting" is this
