Multi Tasking

English ல எனக்கு பிடிக்காத ஒரே வார்த்தை. Actually, one of my most hated words(the others being Thanks, Sorry, Guilty etc.) But right now, it is my most hated word, because everybody wants me and everyone else to MULTI TASK.

1. Study for campus interview - one of the worst tasks, so its never been accomplished. EVER.

2. Department of Computer Science- ONLINE(the great) club work(S)- Aah...I'm made to do this. In other days, I would enjoy doing stuff for Online, but now...செம கடியா இருக்கு.

3. Abhilasha- என் ராசி அப்படி. Everything falls on my head. But this would've been enjoyable too. But now, this just seems like another burden.

4. My aarvams of India- Oh yea. Read 'Auditions and Radio Jockeying'. Amidst all the chaos that is my life, I also choose to do something for my passion aka RJing. So, I squeeze through that into my over-loaded schedule.

5. Taking SEMINARS in class- This is probably one of the most strenuvous jobs, but yes, I will HAVE to do it.

6. Eat and Sleep- this, I'm finding very difficult. Half the time, I don't have the time to do the basic stuff!!!!!

SO, DON'T YOU DARE COME AND TELL ME ABOUT THE BENEFITS AND NECESSITY OF MULTI-TASKING!!!

Perform more than one task at the same time; originally of computers, now also more generally

Multi-task(according to ME):
CHAOS

A FEW Advantages and disadvantages of NOT having a boy-friend

ADVANTAGES:

• Guilt-free life. You don't have to be worried everytime you step in to your house, that someone you know might've seen you with your boyfriend somewhere, and might've come and told your parents.
• No Brain Damage. Without a boyfriend, cell phone becomes just another gadget. You don't hang on to it like your life depends on it. So, less talking less damage to brain. And pocket.
• You don't have to give a shit about looks. Unless you are desperately looking for another boyfriend, you don't have to care too much about your looks. You don't have to be worried if your friend looks better than you when are going to meet a guy.
• Better attendance. Your college bunking will be reduced by 50%, so you won't have to pay condonation for writing the exam... save money. get good name. ஒரே கல்லுல ரெண்டு மாங்கா!!
  
• Eat better. Sleep Better. Do I have to elaborate on that?
• Free to sight anyone. Yeah, no guilty feelings. Happily freak out!
• Lie: Truth ratio. Yeah, finally you can also aim to become Harichandra's descendant.
• You can sit and think of stuff like this :)

DISADVANTAGES:

• Free Food
• Free lifts
• All those gifts
  
• Er.. and yea, you can get a bit physical. Good for your harmones.
• Someone to listen to even your stupidest thoughts and polambals.
  

Radio One and Chennai Traffic Police 'Traffic Awareness'

Today, for the first time ever in my life(சத்தியமா! சொன்னா நம்புங்க!) I went to Besant Nagar beach. But I didn't go there with friends to spend time idly, or with a boyfriend(not that I have one!) to hide in a corner and share secrets. It was for a cause. Radio One and Chennai traffic police together conducted a 'Traffic Awareness' show in Bessie today(tomorrow it is in Marina!).
குழந்தைகளுக்கு மருந்து கொடுக்கனும்னா, முதல்ல ஸ்வீட்ஸ் ஏதாவது கொடுப்பாங்க, like that, we had to do use show-biz to ask people to wear helmets! and follow other traffic rules.
We had to bring in a few celebrities(who are mostly dumb-asses and rule-breakers) to pull crowd, and look-alikes of cine stars to make them stay. Then, வாழைபழத்துல ஊசி ஏத்தர மாதிரி, நடுவுல நடுவுல நல்லா விஷயம் புகுத்த வேண்டியிருந்தது. But, like Nayagan Kamal says, "நாலு பேருக்கு நல்லது செய்யணும் னா எதுவுமே தப்பில்லை"!!! :)
